GOLDEN CIRCLE & SKY LAGOON (Admission incl.)

Visit the natural treasures of Iceland on the Golden Circle Classic tour and end the day with a visit to Reykjavik´s newest geothermal spa, the amazing Sky Lagoon!

In one spectacular day, you´ll see gushing geysers and golden waterfalls, you´ll walk between continents, and learn about Viking history.

Departing Reykjavik, the first stop of the day will be Thingvellir National Park. As you look across the incredible landscape, you´ll see gigantic cracks in the Earth´s surface. What you are seeing is the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are pulling apart from each other. You can actually stand with your feet on two different continents at once here!

Thingvellir holds a special place in the hearts of the Icelandic people, as it was the home of the first Viking parliament. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The next stop is the Geysir geothermal area where you can see the geyser Strokkur erupt every few minutes. The Icelandic word "geysir" means gush and it has become the name for spouting hot springs all over the world. Strokkur sends boiling hot water up to 30 meters into the sky, which is quite the spectacle, but make sure to stand upwind so as not to get wet!

Next up on the Golden Circle Classic tour is Gullfoss.

It is without a doubt one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. The "Golden Falls" waterfall is fed by millions of gallons of freezing meltwater from the second-largest glacier in Iceland, Langjökull.

The water plunges more than 30 meters down into a steep canyon, which means there´s always water spraying all around, with rainbows on sunny days.

You can see the waterfall from different viewing platforms that give you different angles and views of the waterfall, with plenty of fantastic picture opportunities.

Once you have seen these three amazing gems of Iceland, you might think you have seen all the best Iceland has to offer.

But we have one more memorable experience for you to enjoy!

It is no secret that Icelanders love their geothermal spas, and the newest is the Sky Lagoon, only 10 minutes from downtown Reykjavik!

The Sky Lagoon is inspired by Icelandic bathing culture and offers a fabulous oceanside spa experience from a 250-foot infinity pool with views you will never forget.

You will enjoy a heavenly seven-step ritual that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Lie back in the warm, soothing waters and have a cocktail at the swim-up cave bar.

Only Iceland gives you so much in one day – enjoying the best of her nature, history and culture, it’ll be a day you’ll never forget.
